Arising out of our Enviroschool learning about the way our actions impact the planet, students wanted to look at the impact of our consumerism.
The juniors learnt about New Zealand Aoteoroa - how man has and is impacting the native wildlife, and then looked beyond our shores to the world. The seniors looked at Child Labour and the practices of some corporations in relation to the ethical issue of employing youth.
We showed this to parents at our annual Prizegiving and it was requested by DOC for showing at their Wahakapapa Visitor Centre and the Community Service Centre and the Waiouru Support Company, for inclusion in their Waiouru Promotional packs"
